Corporate America Screws American Workers

Lou Dobbs weighs in

And Glenn Beck

With the schools dumbing-down American children, and businesses out-sourcing and bringing in foreign workers through the H-1B visa program, it won't take long for American citizens to end up on the bottom of the pecking order. 4 out of 5 workers brought in under the H-1B visa program are level 1, not level 4 skilled workers.

Enacted in 1990, the United States H-1B visa program allows US businesses to employ foreign workers in specialized, highly skilled occupations, and is especially intended to bring skilled professionals such as researchers, scientists, engineers, and software developers to the U.S. The H-1B program is designed specifically to bring foreign-born workers to the United States who have skills that are in shortage with U.S. business interests. It is being used to defraud American workers.

If there are 300,000 people in US Universities graduating with advanced degrees in math and sciences every year to an expected 120,000 available jobs, why is Bill Gates moaning about the H-1B visa cap? In fact, Bill Gates is advocating the elimination of the cap entirely. Not the visa program, just the upper limit of how many foreign workers can be summoned by American companies to do the work that Americans are, or should be trained for? What about the other 180,000 graduates each year? What do they do with their degrees?

Out-sourcing of jobs is un-American, and is speeding up the demise of America. Tsk, tsk. Why not give empire-building a rest, Bill? Pop over to Africa, and feed some starving children, or something? Better yet, why not use your money to actually help feed children in America? You have to forgive my naiveté. Being a loyal, patriotic American, I just can't seem to get with the global mind-set of your generation. Oh, don't get me wrong, I know how much you've done for America, and the world. But why pull it down around your ears, now that you're king of the mountain, Bill? Is there no limit to corporate America's greed?

Let's look at some of the results of the H-1B visa programs thus far.

Research finds US H1B visa holders paid less :

How much less?

A recent report suggests that US employers are using the H-1B visa program to pay lower wages than the national average for programming jobs.

According to "The Bottom of the Pay Scale: Wages for H-1B Computer Programmers — F.Y. 2004," a report by Programmers Guild board member John Miano, non-U.S. citizens working in the United States on an H-1B visa are paid "significantly less than their American counterparts."

How much less? "On average, applications for H-1B workers in computer occupations were for wages $13,000 less than Americans in the same occupation and state."

Why The H-1B Visa Must Be Abolished

Not satisfied with screwing young Americans out of the jobs they've been led to believe were theirs at the end of an arduous, and expensive (Sally Mae grows fat, fat off student loans) education. Now corporate America is also bringing all their ingenuity to bear on the foreign workers in numerous ways.

In a related story
, Bushes (NWO) advisors tell him:
A report by the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) found that immigrants increase the total economic output of the United States, are more innovative per capita than their native counterparts, and contribute over $30 billion in increased income for native-born American workers....

...The paper was possibly prompted to assist the president's argument for immigration reform; the CEA stated that reducing immigration "would be a poorly-targeted and inefficient way to assist low-wage Americans."
It sounds like the old J. Edgar Hoover days: find out what the boss is dreaming, and help create the world around it. There is plenty more evidence that the globalist's dream has rendered our government unanswerable, unknowable for its citizens.

Thomas Jefferson said that the federal government should be the weakest part of our government, not the strongest.
